Hello! I am Hilton Schultz, a passionate farmer based in the charming town of Abbotsford, Canada. Farming has been my lifelong calling, and I take immense pride in cultivating the land and tending to the animals at Gelderman Farms, my family-owned farm.

Born and raised in Abbotsford, my love for nature and agriculture blossomed from a young age. As a child, I would spend countless hours exploring the countryside, fascinated by the beauty and intricacies of farm life. Those early experiences laid the foundation for my future as a dedicated farmer.

After completing my education, I returned to Abbotsford with a vision of creating a thriving farm that would not only produce high-quality agricultural products but also serve as a place of connection between nature and people. In pursuit of this dream, I established Gelderman Farms, where we specialize in various agricultural endeavors, including the cultivation of fresh produce, raising livestock, and maintaining private farmer’s houses that embrace the rustic charm of the countryside.

Driven by a desire to share my knowledge and experiences, I launched the geldermanfarms.ca website and blog. Through this platform, I aim to inspire and educate fellow farmers, enthusiasts, and nature lovers about the joys and challenges of farm life. The blog features articles covering a wide range of topics, from sustainable farming practices and organic agriculture to the joys of rural living and the warmth of farm-to-table cooking.
